“1982” by Rhynos is a blistering 1-minute-and-20-second burst of raw, unfiltered energy straight out of Toronto, Canada. As the band’s very first song, it wastes no time establishing their signature sound: a volatile cocktail of punk urgency, grunge grit, mechanical precision, and stoner heaviness—all distilled into a track that’s short, sweet, and impossible to ignore. The standout element? A thick, fuzzy bass guitar recorded through both guitar and bass amps, creating a dense, saturated low end that rumbles like thunder.
