Turbocoopers "This Is For The Ones"
Sounds from Argentina
28/04/2025 | Argentina’s underground rock scene has always been a breeding ground for raw, unapologetic energy, and Turbocoopers are its latest export of defiance. A supergroup forged from the fire of longtime local acts, the band channels the DNA of punk, garage rock, and rockabilly into a 3-minute-and-4-second explosion of adrenaline. "This Is For The Ones" is a track that owes as much to the snarling urgency of the 1977 punk revolution as it does to the gritty theatrics of Scandinavian rock exports like The Hives or Refused. From the first power chord, Turbocoopers lock into a high-octane groove, their chemistry crackling like a live wire.
The track’s architecture is pure punk minimalism with maximalist heart. Jagged rockabilly riffs dart between driving rhythms, while the rhythm section lays down a super tight foundation. The vocals are half-shouted, half-sung—equal parts Johnny Rotten sneer and classic rock frontman swagger—over harmonies that add a touch of melodic rebellion, like The Clash harmonizing with early Green Day. Press play and enjoy!
