Luke Pacuk "Emily"
Sounds from the UK
27/05/2025 | Luke Pacuk's "Emily" emerges from the UK scene with a magnetic blend of Indie Rock and Post-Punk, steeply steeped in the dark, brooding aesthetics of early 80s New Wave. The track pulses with moody synths, reverb-drenched guitars, and a rhythmic drive that evokes the likes of New Order, The Cure, and Depeche Mode, while maintaining a presence that feels both elegant and defiant. There’s an air of arrogance in its delivery — not in attitude, but in confidence — as Pacuk crafts a sound that’s rich in atmosphere and emotional nuance.
Based in Southampton since 2010, Luke Pacuk is a multi-instrumentalist and producer originally from Mys?owice, Poland. His musical journey spans multiple genres, reflecting his versatility as a session musician and producer. Following the release of his debut album First Dance on October 18, 2023, Pacuk quickly followed up with his second album Revolution Days, released this past April 30. These albums mark the arrival of an artist unafraid to explore the shadows while crafting songs that resonate with depth, style, and a distinct retro-modern flair.
