An intense track with great guitars. Minimalist but with a clear and forceful sound. Acoustic guitars are complemented by tremolo electric guitar strokes. In "Ugly Roses" there is the splendid voice of Suzy Callahan who seems to inherit both Suzanne Vega and Natalie Merchant and even Robert Plant.
