The Ix Twins’ "Force Fed" is a blistering two-minute-and-eleven-second burst of hard rock and grunge that serves as a loving, high-octane homage to the legendary Nirvana. Hailing from the thick forests of Pennsylvania, this project masterfully channels the aggressive, energetic, and moody spirit of nineties alternative rock into a punky, cathartic anthem designed to thrash the bad vibes right out of your system. While the track relies on heavy fuzz guitars and raw, visceral energy, it never sacrifices the traditional songwriting craftsmanship and literate lyrics that define the Ix Twins' evolution from a bedroom four-track operation to a polished studio force. By marrying the foundational melodic sensibilities of the Beatles with the massive, sludgy punk revelation of grunge, "Force Fed" delivers an edgy yet undeniably hummable indie rock earworm that proves this reclusive home-studio mastermind is a formidable talent ready to leave a lasting mark on the underground scene.
