NYC-based songwriter and producer Christian Medice delivers a captivating slice of bedroom pop with his latest track, "Good time." Clocking in at a concise two minutes and forty-seven seconds, the song is an intimately and passionately interpreted indie pop gem that beautifully bridges the gap between lo-fi warmth and indie rock sensibilities. Medice crafts a deeply personal sonic landscape that evokes the nostalgic shimmer of 80s pop while retaining the raw, authentic spirit of the 90s, all enriched with subtle soulful nuances. The production is remarkably warm and sweet, yet it is cleverly offset by classy, edgy arrangements that give the track a sophisticated, modern bite. Ultimately, "Good time" is a masterful display of Medice's ability to blend retro influences with a highly individualized touch, resulting in an irresistibly charming and emotionally resonant listen.
