Clocking in at a perfectly paced 3'58'', "Air" by Canadian outfit Woodlot Frozen is a classy and elegant slice of pop rock that balances sophisticated ambition with a distinct, undeniable attitude. Drawing compelling sonic parallels to the quirky alt-rock charm of Crash Test Dummies and the smooth, trip-hop-infused grooves of Morcheeba, the track establishes a gentle, hypnotic rhythm that immediately draws the listener in. This accessible foundation is beautifully elevated by an elegant touch of psychedelia, adding swirling textures and atmospheric depth that nod to the band's progressive rock sensibilities without ever overpowering the song's core indie structure. Ultimately, "Air" is a sophisticated and captivating listen that seamlessly bridges the gap between alternative rock accessibility and progressive ambition
