Hour of Pearl’s "Mutual Destruction" is a blistering 3-minute and 11-second burst of pure California punk and skate punk energy that perfectly captures the band's throwback-inspired sound with a fresh, modern sensibility. Hailing from San Jose, the group—comprised of Evan, Bird, Craig, and Mark on bass—is a project born out of deep friendship and a shared, lifelong love for rock and, most importantly, punk rock. Revisiting the raw, high-octane music they always intended to make, the track delivers a relentless, fast-paced assault that is as infectious as it is aggressive. Yet, beneath the gritty skate punk riffs and breakneck rhythms lies a unifying mission; the band uses their high-voltage rock n' roll to bring people together, resulting in an anthemic, feel-good slice of punk that proves the enduring, communal power of the genre and leaves listeners ready to shout, "Let's Rock!"
