Omer B "FunKri"
Sounds from USA
26/12/2025 | Omer B’s FunKri is a vibrant, three-minute burst of instrumental funk that radiates joy and precision. Clocking in at just 3’32”, the track wastes no time locking into a tight, grooving pocket driven by Omer B’s nimble guitar work and Oded Kafri’s punchy, responsive drumming. Blending elements of funk, indie rock, and jazz fusion, FunKri feels both modern and timeless—a high-energy jam that never sacrifices musicality for flash. The interplay between the two musicians is immediate and intuitive, showcasing a rare chemistry that underscores the human element increasingly missing in today’s digital music landscape.
Recorded with meticulous attention to tone—featuring gear nods to modern funk icons like Mark Lettieri and Cory Wong—the track brims with crisp textures and dynamic nuance. From its snappy riffs to its buoyant rhythmic drive, FunKri is a celebration of feel over formula, spontaneity over simulation. Released on December 17, this single stands as a refreshing reminder that sometimes the best music happens when talented players simply listen to each other and let the groove take the wheel. For fans of instrumental funk with soul, swagger, and sincerity, FunKri delivers in spades.
