Repeat "Framed"

Sounds from Sweden

22/11/2025 |

Repeat’s new single “Framed”—a blistering 2-minute-34-second punk onslaught from their EP Celebrate—hits like a clenched fist: fast, furious, and unapologetically raw. Hailing from Sweden, the band channels the grungy ferocity of hardcore punk with razor-sharp precision, driving home a song charged with tension, guilt, and the desperate need to break free. The rhythm is relentless, the guitars scorching, and the vocals spit out every line like a confession under duress. It’s the kind of track that doesn’t ask for attention—it demands it, embodying the band’s evolution toward a heavier, sharper, and more dynamic sound while never sacrificing the emotional immediacy that’s defined them since day one.

Celebrate, the five-track EP that houses “Framed,” is a paradox wrapped in distortion: at once cynical and hopeful, abrasive and melodic. While “Framed” delivers punk in its most explosive form, other tracks like “Me & Paul Auster” reveal Repeat’s range—delving into post-punk minimalism and existential repetition with literary flair. The band describes the title as both ironic and sincere: an anthem for holding on amid chaos, absurdity, and personal weight. Following two albums and endless DIY shows, Repeat proves they’re not slowing down. With a European tour lined up across Sweden, Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands, Celebrate isn’t just an EP—it’s a battle cry wrapped in feedback and forged in resilience.
