Gimme Gimme’s new single “Lost in Love” is a tender, sun-drenched slice of indie pop that radiates warmth and intimacy. Clocking in at just 2’40”, the track blends lo-fi bedroom pop textures with breezy bossa nova rhythms, creating a dreamy yet grounded soundscape. Sibling duo Will and Esther harmonize with effortless chemistry, their voices intertwining like shared childhood memories—soft, sweet, and full of nostalgic charm. Esther’s delicate string arrangements in the choruses add a cinematic flourish, nodding to their classical roots while enhancing the song’s romantic vulnerability. Born in a small NSW town and raised on violin lessons and 90s Rage marathons, Will and Esther bring a rich musical heritage and a global perspective to their work. Written spontaneously on a tipsy Christmas night, “Lost in Love” captures the giddy rush of new romance with gooey sincerity and a wink of pop irreverence—think melted Valentine’s chocolate meets Phil Collins drum breaks and Spice Girls sparkle. After touring across Europe and Australia and releasing their well-received EP Dessert for Dinner, the duo is now prepping two new EPs for 2026. Their journey—from backyard practices with Kinder Surprise rewards to sold-out shows from Berlin to Melbourne—infuses their music with authenticity, joy, and a deep love for collaboration, as evidenced by their 2019 Berlin-recorded debut featuring Van Hunt and polished by Melbourne’s Nick Herrera.
