Egentid "Better Man"
Sounds from Sweden
10/04/2025 | Egentid’s "Better Man", a heartfelt Indie Folk gem from Sweden, beautifully blends Folk Pop sensibilities with the timeless charm of harmonica and a rhythmic acoustic guitar that drives the song’s pulse. The track features a dramatic and bittersweet vocal delivery, perfectly capturing the raw emotions of introspection and growth, yet it resolves with an undeniable sense of hope.
Egentid, a Malmö-based indie folk-pop band formed in 2024, brings a fresh perspective to the genre by weaving introspective lyrics with dynamic, modern pop melodies. Their ability to balance warm, inviting instrumentation with honest storytelling creates a sound that feels very intimate.
Recorded at the legendary Tambourine Studios in Malmö and produced by Wallentin Rickardsson, Better Man reflects the band’s dedication to crafting music that resonates on a deeply personal level. The harmonica adds a nostalgic touch, while the acoustic guitar provides a steady foundation, allowing the emotional weight of the lyrics to shine through.
