Catalyst "Steel Cap Slippers"
Sounds from Switzerland
29/09/2026 | Swiss duo Catalyst proves once again that a massive lineup isn't necessary to deliver a colossal sound on their latest track, "Steel Cap Slippers." Clocking in at a tight 3 minutes and 38 seconds, the song showcases the St. Gallen band's signature blend of alternative and noise rock, fusing post-punk nerve with a lively, organic jam band spirit. Singer-guitarist Dominic Curseri and drummer Ramon Wehrle lock into a pushing groove that drives the track forward with passionate intensity, ultimately exploding into a massive chorus that justifies their years of relentless touring across Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. Since forming in 2015, the pair has mastered the art of high-energy rock, and "Steel Cap Slippers" stands as a thrilling, raw testament to their undeniable two-piece power.
